    Discovery Magic Wands

    $175.00
Prerequisite: None.  This is an introductory class. Suggested Skill Level: Beginner and up Date. March 17, 2024 Time: 3 PM -  7 PM Location: Adam's Forge Could you use more magic in your life?  If so, this is the workshop for you! Commercially mass-produced wands made of wood or resin will break with use, but a hand-forged wand will last forever. This super fun workshop is a great introduction to the forge and is suitable for more advanced students as well. Here, you will be guided in forging your own magic wand from a 3/8″ square bar. The instructor will demonstrate various design options, including different styles of twists and surface textures, and they’ll assist you as you create your own magic. Once your wand is made, your instructor will show you how to add an optional magical orb (otherwise known as a marble) to the top of the wand for extra special power. Finally, they will go over finishing options. Please note: the first week that registration for this workshop is open, spots may only be purchased by members. If you find you are unable to register, please check back after that first week has passed, or consider becoming a member of Adam’s Forge. All proceeds go towards supporting our amazing organization, and membership will bring you exclusive events and opportunities, along with a community of other blacksmiths!

    $175.00
Date: March 10, 2024 Time: 6 PM - 10 PM Location: Adam's Forge Prerequisites: None; this is an introductory workshop Our newest Discovery workshop is perfect for beginners and more experienced students alike. Discovery BBQ Tool

    $175.00
Prerequisite: None. This is the first workshop to take. Suggested skill level: Beginner and up Date: March 9, 2024 Time: 4 PM  - 8 PM Location: Adam's Forge Are you a grill master? Do your weekends revolve around the smoking of various proteins? Do you live and breathe charcoal and fire? Then there’s one thing your rig needs: your very own, hand-made BBQ tool, forged in fire five times hotter than any grill. This workshop is perfect for beginners. Because you’re working with longer steel, you can mostly use your hands instead of tongs, which means you can focus on learning the basics of hammering and temperature control without having to also focus on manipulating the tongs. For more experienced blacksmiths, there’s lots of opportunity to experiment with different techniques. And best of all, you’ll go home with your very own, one-of-a-kind BBQ tool! Sound complicated? We promise it’s not. We’ll teach you everything you need to know. Please note: the first week that registration for this workshop is open, spots may only be purchased by members. If you find you are unable to register, please check back after that first week has passed, or consider becoming a member of Adam’s Forge.
