We offer you a one-day leather sheath introduction course to go along with your letter opener or any other smaller knife you may have! *read note below*. Now you can have a beautiful custom-made knife sheath and the skills to make more in the future as you progress in your bladesmithing journey. Leather working is an excellent way to expand your area of expertise and safely store your blades.

In this introductory leather sheath course we will be discussing sheath pattern making, basic leather joinery and tooling. We will be demonstrating a one-piece leather sheath that you can finish and take home with pride.  We provide all tools and materials for the workshop.

  • Important note: If you have a knife that you’d like to design your sheath around, please bring it.  Knives with a blade length of 3 – 4 inches work for this project.

Prior leather working knowledge is not needed and everyone is welcome.

Please note: All classes are released for member-only early registration for one week before they’re available for general registration.  If you’re unable to add this class to your cart, you can wait for general release or join our membership program at any time!
