Prerequisite: Any Discovery Class. Please read the full class description below.
Date: October 29, 2022
Time: 9 am – 3 pm
Location: Adam’s Forge
Do you have a knife project that you’d like to get some help with? Have you been coming to Open Forge sessions and not making as much progress as you’d like? Here’s an opportunity to get some expert guidance in some of the more technical aspects of this craft.
This session is designed for those of you who have some experience in bladesmithing and have specific questions or areas of competence that you’d like to focus on. There will be a demonstration on specific aspects of blade forging after which we’ll turn on the forges and get to work.
This is not a project class; it’s more like a Deluxe Open Forge with a bit of one-on-one attention for everyone.
We’ll have two instructors on the ground and will limit attendance to 8 people, so sign-up now if you’re interested, as these places will fill up quickly.
Please bring projects that you’re working on. There will be steel available for purchase in the forge.
You must have taken at least one Discovery class from us and be familiar with working safely.
This session runs from 9am – 3pm with an hour meal break
Advance booking for all classes is available to Adam’s Forge members during the first week of the month. For more information, click here.
